The flower that evokes winter memories—known as Night Jasmine, or as we called it in Bangla, 'Shiuli'. Every December, right after our annual exams, we would head to the village for a few days, a breakfast with winter breeze. Early mornings were crisp, chilled by the taste of date sap, making me shiver yet eager to explore outside. Mom would wrap me in a thick jumper, saying, "Go play on the ground for a while!" And so, through dew-covered grass, I’d wander to the flowering trees. The ground was carpeted with tiny white blossoms, each with six petals and a touch of red in the center, filling the air with their mesmerizing fragrance.
